first off, i'd like to say that these are NOT my characters. (don't i wish). These two belong to 
.
desperately trying to fend off art block, i decided to draw something that wouldn't require too much thinking. So i snuck into Altalamatox's gallery and stole her characters for a while. Don't worry, i returned them.
I really like how this turned out. the amount of time i geek out over Cornelius is probably unhealthy. I'm expecting a restraining order any day now. Probably from Cornelius himself, cause when he's not a amphibian thing he's a politician, and they can do things like that.
..... and I probably should have paid closer attention to Nicky's design. those patterns are the inverse of what they should be. ah, not changing it now.
I really like his cloak. and Nicky's pouf. and her glove thingies. I'm pretty sick right now, and probably delirious, so you can ignore about 80% of what i wrote.

Haha! Dude, firstly, I can't get over Nicky's expression. I imagine she's just finished reminiscing about some grand adventure she's had and Cornelius is delicately reminding her that adventure is for silly people and is bad for your health anyways.
They both look wonderful and don't worry a bit over Nicole's pattern, I forget how she works all the time myself. So many scales and spines, she shouldn't wonder that she doesn't get drawn much. Thanks for giving her some lurve and I'm tickled you like Cornelius, he can be a giant blue stick in the mud but maybe that's part of why he's fun. I'm glad you like their accessories, I spend too much time trying to figure out things for my less-human people to wear and how to get them to stay on and not look too silly. Good work hitting all their little details, by the way, it's great!
