Rio Contest- Rafael

Sorry Blu, move over. Rafael was definitely my favorite after seeing it... two weeks ago? I didn't know George Lopez could do a fatherly figure! It was a pleasant surprise. The amount of character in this character was ... i guess good enough to fit my standards.

What did i think of the movie? It was.... okay. It wasn't the quality i had hoped for. It's a wanna-be Disney. Some of the songs were good, like the party song and the love song. Some were just plain awkward to watch. I'm also shocked that's it's rated G. Warning, girls and boys in really skimpy outfits (yah, boys too.... not a highlight of the movie. What made them think it was funny?) What mostly bugged me was the lack of character put in some of the characters, ESPECIALLY the little boy whatshisface. They could have done a lot with him and the story around his life, but didn't.

I loved the animation work put into this show. If you think about it, they really got the bird factor into this. Every move they made was... birdy for lack of a better word. Also, a lot of character was put into a lot of the characters (just not all of them). Rafael being one of them. Which is why Blu gets demoted to second. XD

Maybe I'll learn how to do color someday... his beak would be so awesome to color.
